Michael Marks Cohen joined the Journal's Editorial Board in 1996. Before joining Nicolleti Hornig Campise & Sweeney, he was a senior partner in the firm of Burlingham Underwood LLP. Mr. Cohen is an instructor of maritime law at Columbia University, a member of the American Law Institute, an associate editor of American Maritime Cases , a past editor of various admiralty and maritime treatises, a past member of the Executive Committee of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, and a past officer of the A.B.A. Section of International Law and Practice. Mr. Cohen holds a B.A. and an LL.B. from Columbia University.
